This is probably the cutest cafe in the surrounding area. It appears to be family run and while I didn't have any food, the food looked fresh and tasty. Their menu has healthier options available, including vegan options. Unfortunately, they are charging really high prices for coffee drinks but the quality of ingredients is really poor. Since I am vegan, I had to ask them about what they used for their mocha to read the ingredients. They use Hershey's syrup and charge over $6 for a small mocha. You can get a mocha with no artificial flavors, real cocoa, and no high fructose corn syrup, etc from a nice cafe in Piedmont for that price. That price is far too high for Hershey's syrup and I ended up getting a vanilla latte that tasted like it came from a gas station. 4 stars for the decor and because the food looked good.

So thankful for this cozy, friendly, warm restaurant with fresh, simple ingredient foods and delicious coffee & tea drinks near my home. People talk about what's not in their neighborhoods but fail to support the great ones that are!

This place was super cute! The paintings , little decorations, gifts/mugs from customers from all around Latin America just all signals that this place is well loved by the owner and the community. The owner is Mexican and she is super friendly and gave me and my kids free coffee and chia to try. The coconut chia sample was actually really delicious! I ordered two sandwiches and two avocado toast to go and they turned out all pretty decent, each with a side salad to go with it which is nice. The only downside is that the order took awhile at close to 4pm when we ordered. First time here so don't know if at usual lunch time it would be faster or not. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by this neighborhood gem!

Great neighborhood cafe serving good coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Love their bagel and lunch sandos. El Tren is like a cross between a torta and a banh mi, which I absolutely love. Salads are fresh and tasty too. The ladies running this spot are super nice and I am always happy to stop by and support them.

The owner is so nice. You can come here to grab you a sandwich, a breakfast sandwich, a croissant, so coffee or some Mexican coffee which was delicious she so kind to give me a sample. You can order some Chia Fruit! My favorite thing here to order it the The Lox Bagel, with the salmon, capers, cream cheese, on an Everything Bagel! The customers service is amazing and the owner also voluntarily gave me a sample of the Chia with fruit and it was good.

Food - I LOVE LOVE the food at this cafe. So delicious I'm stuck on the chipotle chicken sandwich and the iced mocha. So delicious and fresh. I can't wait to try new items on the menu. The salad that comes with the sandwich is amazing with the homemade dressing they make at the cafe. They take over the phone orders which makes it wonderful if you're on a work break. Food is still fresh and hot when you pick it up. The service is PHENOMENAL at Romo's cafe. I love the owners and the staff so welcoming they always show love. Thank you ladies. You all are appreciated. The ambiance is beautiful here. I love the Mexican style art and the lovely vibrant colors. They plants just makes it feel so homey and welcoming. I love coming here.
